Mad Dog’s First Cherokee County’s Unsung Hero Centre’s Street and Sanitation Supervisor Bobby Paul

This will be a new feature that I will be doing weekly on our WEIS Radio Website. I got the idea month’s ago when Robert Pace was named Centre’s Fire Chief. If any of you feel someone you work with, know, or think they are very special and should be commended for the job they do just email their names and how to get a hold of them to weisnew@weisradio.com. Please put care of David “Mad Dog” DeMarco. This feature is called Mad Dog’s  Cherokee County’s Unsung Hero. So, the reason I chose Centre’s Street and Sanitation Supervisor Bobby Paul because from day one when I saw him at the City of Centre Council Meetings I had a very strong idea how hard this guy and his crew work. Bobby Paul, has been in his same job position with the City of Centre for 31 years. Paul was born in Dothan, Alabama and grew up in Rainbow City. His first 6 and a half years he worked on the back of a garbage truck. He’s been married to Jennifer for 28 years and they have one daughter Emilee. Bobby Paul, told me the best thing about his job is working for the people and he has a great crew. Centre is very fortunate to have Bobby Paul as a longtime employee. He really cares about doing a solid job for his employer each and everyday. Oh yeah, he is a complete Crimson Tide fanatic too. Just remember send me some names of people who should be commended for the job they do.
