Ms. Patricia “Patsy” Ann Richardson, age 84 of Cedar Bluff, AL, passed away June 23, 2024 at Cherokee County Health and Rehab. Ms. Richardson was the daughter of the Late William H. and Annie Lou Hanks Comer.
A funeral service will be held 3PM Wednesday, June 26 at Salem Methodist Church with Bro. Bill Zenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1PM until the time of service Wednesday at the church.
Pallbearers will include Curt Hendon, Michael Richardson, Colton Richardson, Luke Richardson, Garland Puckett, Cody Little, Todd Rogers and Collin Hendon.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Tammy) Richardson, Terry (Tammy) Richardson, and Bradley (Gayle) Richardson; daughter, Sherry Hendon; grandchildren, Curt Hendon, Miranda Hendon, Michael Richardson, Brittany Little, Colton Richardson, Luke Richardson, Brooke Rogers, Destiny Grace, and Dalton Richardson, along with 16 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Wilma Porter, as well as special friends, Carolyn Hanks, Lois Mackey, and Nelma Ann Guice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Charles Richardson.
Ms. Richardson was a school bus driver for 37 years, and she loved to sew and crochet. She started playing piano at church when she was 14 years old and was a lifelong member of Salem Methodist Church.
The family requests no flowers or food, please. Donations in Ms. Patsy’s memory may be made to the Salem Cemetery fund.
