Another of Floyd County, Georgia’s “Most Wanted”, was arrested over the weekend. 40-year old Carland Eugene Johnson of a Silver Creek address, was wanted on charges of Aggravated Assault and Obstruction of Officers. According to that arrest warrant, Johnson had placed his hands around a woman’s throat in an attempt to choke her and then tried to smother her by putting a pillow over her face. That incident occurred on April 27th at Johnson’s Pleasant Valley Road home. He is also accused of running from police on May 10th.
And, with the recent arrest of Johnson – another name has been added to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” list. Tyler Austin Nichols, age 27, is wanted on charges of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime, Battery, and Reckless Conduct.
