A Shooting Incident Saturday Night
According to reports, a man was shot Saturday evening during what was reported as a break-in at a residence on County Road 71. The injured male subject was transported to a Rome hospital for treatment.
The Cherokee County Sheriff Department told WEIS Radio News, they are not prepared to release any information at this time, but an investigation is underway.
