According to the Alabama State Trooper’s Post at Jacksonville, the person who was struck and injured by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in DeKalb County, remains hospitalized. Reports indicate that both a male, from St. Petersburg, Florida – and also a female from Smithville, Mississippi – were close to an intersection with Highway 227 around 4:00pm, when the mishap occurred.
The vehicle, a 2006 Dodge, driven by male from Grove Oak, Alabama had reportedly struck the St. Petersburg resident sending him to the hospital for treatment.
