In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the Previous 24 Hours:

Wesley Guffey, 46 of Summerville, Georgia was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear – on previous charges of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

And

Rhonda Simpson, age 49 of Cedartown, Georgia arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Theft of Property 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently, there are 97 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
