GUNTERSVILLE – A 26-10 second-quarter run sparked the Spring Garden Lady Panthers to a 66-37 basketball victory over Hamilton at Supreme Courts in Guntersville on Monday evening.
The Lady Panthers (2-0) led 13-10 after one, but the run made it a 39-20 Spring Garden lead at halftime.
Ace Austin led the Lady Panthers with 31 points, including five 3-pointers. She also had nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block. Chloe Rule contributed 15 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, two assists and a steal. Libby Brown added 11 points, including three treys, with three steals, two blocks, a rebound and an assist. Maggie Jarrett finished with four points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Spring Garden takes on Deshler today at 3:45 p.m.
