The Cherokee County Coroner’s office would like to recognize Deputy Coroner Rhonda McDonald.
She was unanimously elected as the District 6 Director for the Alabama Coroners Association.
District 6 includes Blount, Calhoon, Cherokee, Cleburne, DeKalb, Etowah, Jackson, Jefferson, Madison, Marshall, and St Clare counties in Alabama. Rhonda will be responsible for organizing multiple district meetings and training events during the year.
As a member of the Executive Committee, she will report the needs, challenges and new ideas of the other county coroner’s in her district. Rhonda is also a member of the legislative committee and has been a deputy coroner since 2018. The Alabama Coroners Association conference was held April 24-27 in Colbert County.
