DEKALB COUNTY– Three DeKalb County officials will take their oaths of office Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026. The swearing-in ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. at 111 Grand Ave. S.W. Fort Payne, AL 35967
Ron Saferite will take the oath as commission president. David Bowen and Lester Black will also take their oaths as District 3 and District 4 commissioners, respectively.
Afterward, the DeKalb County Commission will hold its regular meeting at 10 a.m.
