Mr. Jimmy Lynn Harrelson, age 66 of Centre, passed away Sunday, February 5, at Atrium Health Rome.
A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 07, 2023 at
3:00 pm at Cherokee Memory Gardens with, Travis West officiating. The
family will received friends at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday,
from 1:00 pm till 2:45pm.
Pallbearers will be Dalton Harrelson, Travis West, Andy Andrews, TJ
Hill, Lance Taylor, Tim Smith. Honorary pallbearers will include Jamie
Johnson, Dan Chadwick, Stan Evans, Roger Ritchey & Tad Myrick.
He is survived by his wife; Judy Russell Harrelson, son; Brad Russell,
chosen son; TJ Hill, brothers; Butch (Carol) Harrelson, Lanny
(Deborah) Harrelson, sisters; Sue (Tommy) Taylor, Kay Culberson, Amy
(William) Lumpkin, brother-in-law; Travis West, grandchildren; Riley
Russell, Raechel Russell; special mention, Tommy Taylor; numerous
nieces, nephews, and special friends also remain.
He was preceded in death by his sister; Rose West.
Jimmy loved his family and friends with all his heart. He was an avid
outdoorsman. He was a fishing guide for over 30 years. He was a friend
to everyone. He promoted young boys and girls to enjoy and explore all
of life’s gifts. He lived in the moment, enjoyed his life, and lived
it to the fullest.
The family request no flowers and that instead, donations be made in memory of
Jimmy to the CCHS Softball Boosters Club Account at Regions Bank in Centre, Al.
