CENTRE – Five Cherokee County Lady Warriors scored in double figures, led by Ella Garmany’s 16 points, in an 81-10 area girls basketball rout of Cleburne County on Thursday.
Garmany sank three 3-pointers in the game for the Lady Warriors (12-4).

Audrey Haygood added 12 points, including a pair of treys. Raechel Russell also connected on three 3-pointers and had 11 points. Ellisan Givens delivered 10 points.
Nevaeh Gaidurgis came away with eight points. Vivian Connell contributed seven points and Deannia Starr finished with five points.
The Lady Warriors jumped out to a 26-3 advantage in the first quarter and didn’t look back. They led 48-5 at halftime.
Cherokee County hosts Southside-Gadsden on Saturday beginning at 6 p.m.
