Man Facing Maximum of Ten Years Following Guilty Verdict in Cherokee County Court

Gregory Wade Garrett has been found guilty in Cherokee County court this week on a Child Abuse charge.

According to a brief news release – two children and a number of witnesses provided testimony regarding the abusive home.  The trial lasted five days and the jury returned a guilty verdict in under 30 minutes

ADA Stanna Crowe Guice, Investigator Jeremy Stepps and Investigator Gary Williams, took part in the successful prosecution of Garrett – who faces a maximum sentence of ten years when he goes before Judge Shaunathan Bell this October.
