A Cherokee County man remains in jail – after being arrested on a number of charges Monday night.

Leesburg Police arrested 44 year old Charles Neal of a Centre address – charging him with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – in addition to Attempting to Elude and Resisting Arrest.

Neal was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just before 10:30pm.
