A bicyclist was struck by a car and injured in DeKalb County late Monday afternoon.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, the mishap took place around 5:15pm on Alabama Highway 75 at mile marker 102, when a driver of a 2016 Ford struck the bicycle, injuring the male rider from Henagar.
No information has yet been released regarding the extent of injuries suffered by the bike rider and it’s unclear if anyone will be cited in connection with the incident.
