Emily Cowser, age 22 of Centre – Failure to Appear on prior charges of Possession of Contr

Melinda Lowery, age 37 of Wesson MS – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

Jeffery Watson, age 22 of Piedmont – Grand Jury Indictment/Unlawful Possession of Drugs, and Failure to Appear on prior charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia;

and

Billy McGatha, age 53 of Centre – Failure to Appear on a priro Insurance Violation.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

Currently there are 71 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
