A 75 year old Gadsden man shopping for a handgun, was accidentally shot in the leg, by the clerk who was showing him how to load a pistol.
The incident occurred about 9:30 Saturday morning at Poor Man’s Trade Day located in the 1700 block of East Meighan Boulevard.
The potential customer was struck in the left leg just below the hip; and he was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
