New students at Gadsden State Community College are encouraged to attend a free one-day orientation known as “Freshmen Opportunities for College and Unlimited Success” or F.O.C.U.S. 2015.

These sessions are strongly encouraged for all incoming students entering Gadsden State Community College in the fall or summer semesters. Students will meet with advisors, prepare for fall registration and become more familiar with the curricular and extracurricular opportunities that are available at Gadsden State. Parents are welcome to attend.  Please check-in between 7:30-8:00 a.m.

F.O.C.U.S. sessions will be held at the following locations:

  • Gadsden – Wallace Drive Campus – Tuesday, July 21
  • Anniston – McClellan Center – Wednesday, July 22
  • Centre – Gadsden State Cherokee – Thursday, July 23

Registration is now open online by visiting www.gadsdenstate.edu.  Select the “F.O.C.U.S 2015” button on the homepage. The agenda for the day is also available. Be sure online registration is complete by July 10.  For more information call 256-549-8307.
