Traffic on the Causeway in Cedar Bluff was stop and go on Friday afternoon as emergency crews worked to clear an accident in which a pickup truck hauling a car lost the it was carrying causing the truck to fish tail and crash into the guard rail of the south bound lane – the vehicle on the trailer became dislodged and caromed into the guardrail of the north bound lane.

Fortunately no one was injured in the mishap and no other vehicles were involved – Cedar Bluff Police and Firefighters along with Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.

The accident is being investigated by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and we’ll have more as reports from the Agency are available.
