A 54 year old man was killed in a single vehicle accident in Hammondville in DeKalb County on Thursday morning, the accident occurred near Highway 117 at around 10:40 a.m.
According to the Alabama State Troopers Post in Jacksonville, Randall G. Pell of Ider was killed when his 1994 Chevy overturned at the 13.1 mile marker.
It appears that he hit a stop sign and several boulders before he overturned his vehicle.
State Troopers continue to investigate.
