Etowah County authorities say a 19-year-old Altoona man stabbed his stepfather during an altercation Tuesday.
According to a news release from Sheriff Todd Entrekin, Dillon Presley Wilemon, 19, of Altoona, has been charged with one count of first degree domestic violence.
Wilemon attacked and stabbed his stepfather with a knife following a verbal altercation Tuesday about 9:30 p.m.
Deputies arriving at the scene found Wilemon and his girlfriend walking down the road from the Robertson Drive residence, Wilemon covered in blood, Entrekin said.
Wilemon is being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on $25,000 property bond.
