The Ronnie Osborn Band helped to kick off the 26th annual Leesburg Day Celebration on Saturday.

This was the 14th Leesburg Day for Mayor Ed Mackey, who announced the crowning of Miss Leesburg 2014 during the opening ceremony, Carolyn Hale Mariani (pictured below) was this year’s selection. She has lived in Leesburg for 58 years.

Of course, you couldn’t have asked for better weather for Saturday’s event which included various vendors and games.

There was also great food, along with inflatable’s and other attractions for the kids, antique tractors and classic cars.

Prizes were given away and the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Department was on hand selling a large selection of smoked chicken plates, hamburgers and hotdogs.
