Flynt’s six treys lift Cedar Bluff past Crossville

CEDAR BLUFF – Connor Flynt connected on six 3-pointers and finished with 26 points in leading the Cedar Bluff Tigers to a 66-42 basketball victory over visiting Crossville on Tuesday evening.

Bucky Leek added 13 points for the Tigers (1-4). Eli McFry managed eight points, including a pair of treys. Dylan Kinard finished with five points.

Dominic Hatley topped Crossville with 25 points, including six 3-pointers. Jadyn Heflin finished with six points.

Cedar Bluff held a 15-10 lead at the end of the first quarter, then went on a 29-13 run in the second to take a 44-23 advantage at halftime. The Tigers led 55-32 at the end of three quarters.

In girls action, Cedar Bluff fell by the final of 49-20.

Both Cedar Bluff squads host Gaylesville on Tuesday.
