Tommy Eugene Wilkie, 60, of Gadsden, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021.  He was born May 13, 1961 in DeKalb County to Clyde Eugene Wilkie and Nancy Giles Wilkie.  Tommy was a 1979 graduate of Sand Rock High School and worked as the general manager of Chicken Salad Chick in Gadsden.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Big Rock Cemetery. The family requests no flowers.

He is survived by his mother Nancy Wilkie Winston, sister Ritha Buckley (John), brother Randal Wilkie (Peggy), nieces Nikki Dollar (Joe), Erica Mitchell (Daryl), and Christie Cox, two great-nephews, three great-nieces, and his chosen extended family at Chicken Salad Chick of Gadsden.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Wilkie and his wife, Debra Wilkie.

The family asks that all CDC guidelines be observed and masks be worn during the service.

Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
