One person was transported for treatment of unspecified injuries, following a single-vehicle rollover late Wednesday afternoon

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report – a female resident of Piedmont lost control of a 2012 Toyota that she was driving, crashing the vehicle on Highway 411 North near County Road 225.

The driver was entrapped, and had to be freed from the car by emergency personnel.

Quickly responding to the scene were members of the Spring Creek Fire Department, the Rescue Squad, Floyd EMS and Alabama State Troopers; no additional information regarding the extent of the driver’s injuries has yet been made available.

That wreck, which took place at 5:40pm remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
