UPDATED
Additional information has now been released regarding a fatal motorcycle accident occurring Tuesday evening in DeKalb County.
Rodney McCutchen, age 61, listed on the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency report as a resident of Fyffe – left the roadway while operating his 2015 Harley-Davidson, then struck a driveway and went airborne. McCutchen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred at 6:45pm on DeKalb County Road 47 near County Road 94 about three miles south of Powell.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
