Firefighters Respond To Camper Fire At Riverside Campground In Cedar Bluff

Firefighters were called to the Riverside Campground in Cedar Bluff just after midnight Saturday in response to a camper fire inside the campground.

According to reports, the 911 called stated that they heard a loud explosion and observed the camper fully engulfed in flames.

Galyesville, Cedar Bluff and Centre Firefighters responded and extinguished the fire, no one was injured.

Cherokee County deputies and Floyd EMS units also responded in addition to Cherokee Electric crews.

The cause of the fire is not known and is under investigation by Cedar Bluff Police.
