“Stayin’ Alive” Odyssey Olympic Carnival

Event #1: 

Run 4 Val 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun-Walk

• Registration 6 AM – 7:45 AM
• Start Time 8 AM
• At Centre City Park
• Entry Fee $25 (includes tshirt, raffle ticket, wrist band for entry into the carnival, goodie back, and snack)
• Certified 5K course and timing company 
• Color Run / Walk
• Bronze, Gold, and Silver medal winners of each age group and overall
• This is the 7th Annual City of Centre Run 4 Val
• PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO VAL COURTNEY MEMORIAL FUND FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
• We hope all participants return to The Odyssey afterwards for food, fun, games, and prizes!

Event #2:

Val’s Ride & Rally

• Registration 9 AM
• Kick Stands Up 10 AM
• Begins at Odyssey Fitness, ride around Little River Canyon, returns to the Odyssey for food and fun
• Entry Fee $25 (includes tshirt, raffle ticket, wrist band for entry)
• PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO VAL COURTNEY MEMORIAL FUND FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
• We hope all participants return to The Odyssey afterwards for food, fun, games, and prizes!

Event #3: 

Women’s Self-Defense Course

• Free for women
• Donations welcome
• Start Time 1 PM – 2:30 PM
• Held at Odyssey Fitness
• Observe scenarios and learn strategies from the professionals themselves: Kasey West, Brandon Thompson, Tony Monroy, and more
• PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO VAL COURTNEY MEMORIAL FUND FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
• We hope all participants return to The Odyssey afterwards for food, fun, games, and prizes!

Event #4:

Cornhole Tournament

• Sign up the-day-of at Odyssey at 11 AM
• Bags fly at 12 PM
• Held at Odyssey
  • 2 $10/person social blind draws
  • 1 $15/person competitive blind draw
  • 1 $30/team bring-your-own-player

THE CARNIVAL DETAILS:

Before/while/after these events take place, we welcome all community members, friends, family, out of towners, and especially event participants to join us at Odyssey Fitness for our carnival! 

There will be live entertainment from 10 AM – 7 PM: Austin Bishop, Tim Johnson, Kevin Minton, HWY 77, Chad Steed, Shields Rhode, and more!

Shell’s Downtown of Piedmont will be offering bbq, wings, ribs, and more!

SnoBiz of Piedmont will be offering carnival foods: snow cones, cotton candy, pretzels, funnel cakes, nachos, and more!
