Funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn B. Clark, 79, of Anniston, will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Owens will be officiating. Burial will follow the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Clark died on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Grandview Medical Center. Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard G. Benedict; her second husband, Harris L. Clark; her son-in-law, David Chandler; her parents, Elmer Brewster, and Vester Robertson Brewster; two brothers, Leon Brewster, and Hershel Brewster; and one sister, Gwinell Floyd. Left to cherish Mrs. Clark’s memory are her daughters, Susan (Jerry) Smith of Gadsden, and Candice Chandler of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Valerie (Joshua) Bollinger of Trussville, Lindsey (Jason) Silvey of Southside, and Doran (Nicolle) Smith of Southside; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Glenda Taylor of Hiawassee, GA; two brothers, Ray (Ethel) Brewster of Sand Rock, and Dwayne Copeland of Summerville, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joshua Bollinger, Seth Bollinger, Taylor Bollinger, Doran Smith, Jason Silvey, and Keith Taylor. Mrs. Clark attended Leatherwood Baptist Church and enjoyed being a part of her Sunday School Class and participating in Small Groups. She enjoyed gardening in her spare time and being outdoors. Mrs. Clark was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
