Gary Wayne Barrett, age 71 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, July 21st at his residence.
A graveside service will be held at 1:PM Thursday, July 23rd at Cherokee Memory Gardens, with Bro. Jimmy Barrett officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Kristi Barrett; daughters, Megan Daniel, Whitney Daniel (Ronald) Morris; brothers, Howard Barrett and Jimmy Lee Barrett, Jr.; nephews, Tim (Tammy) Barrett, Billy (Deb) Barrett, Mike Barrett; nieces, Brenda (Joe) Henderson, Georgeann (Tim) Keissler; grandchildren, Kinley Humphrey, Harper Lee Humphrey; several grandnieces & nephews
He was preceded in death by a brother, George Barrett and sister, Faye B. Wood.
Mr. Barrett was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Jimmy Lee, Sr. and Ella Grace George Barrett, was retired from Fruit Of The Loom, he was a Vietnam Veteran and was of the Pentecostal faith.
