In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for Wednesday:

Wayne Eric Morrison, age 53 of Duncanville – Public Intoxication;

April Denise Hooper, age 36 of Centre – Court Order;

Gregory Wade Garrett – Grand Jury Indictment/Willful Abuse of a Child under the age of 18 and Grand Jury Indictment/Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

Cory Allen Nichols, age 45 of Ellijay, Georgia – Court Order.

These arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 73 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
