An Etowah County man was arrested in Cherokee County on Saturday on controlled substance charges.
Jonathon Dakota Winfrey, age 26 from Gadsden – was taken into custody and booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center around 7:30pm on charges of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest and Attempting to Elude a Police Officer.
His bond has been set at $5,000.
