Pedestrian Stuck By a Train In Fort Payne

On Monday at approximately 11:43 p.m. a call came into the Fort Payne 911 about a pedestrian that had been struck by a Norfolk Southern train.

Chief Randy Bynum said that officers responded to the 6600 block of Gault Ave N and spoke with the conductor of the train.  The conductor Bynum stated lead officers to the male subject later identified as Adam Jamal Hall, age 20 of Fort Payne. 

The conductor stated that the subject was sitting close to the tracks and did not move and was struck by the train.

Bynum stated Hall was treated on scene and transferred to DeKalb Regional Medical Center for treatment.
