Patricia Mae Hopkins age 88 of Centre passed away Tuesday September 3rd at
her residence. 

Graveside services will be 1 PM Friday September 6th at Cherokee Memory
Gardens with Rev. Eugene Burgess officiating. The family will receive
friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Friday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers include Robert Allen and Wayne Ledford. 

Survivors include sons, Steve Sloan of Centre and Richard Carter Sloan of
TN.; daughters, Laura Allen of Piedmont; brother, Dallas Means Charleston,
West Va.; sisters, Violet of Centre, Karen, Linda, Darlene and Carolyn all
of West Va.; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and
numerous great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hopkins; sons, Larry Bates
and Timothy Sloan; daughter, Sheila Stanton. 

Mrs. Hopkins was a native of Charleston, West Va. and the daughter of the
late George and Kathleen Wilson and was of the Baptist Faith.
