Mr. James Kermit Hill

Mr. James Kermit Hill, age 69 of Centre, passed away Saturday, April 6th at Erlanger Hospital.
 
Funeral services will be 11: A.M. Tuesday, April 9th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brett Clements, Rev. Gary Williams and Rev. Donald Guttery officiating; Entombment will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8: P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
 
Pallbearers include Tim Deaton, Brian Tallent, Randal Wilkie, Kevin Jennings, Keith Wood, Tommy Hilburn, Barry Rogers, Jr., Bill Pierce, Jimmy Oliver.
 
Honorary Pallbearers will be Cherokee Electric Coop Board Members and Employees and McCord’s Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Phylis Reynolds Hill; son, Keith (Tonya) Hill of Centre; brother, Danny (Minnie) Hill of Centre; sisters, Alda (Dallas) Stinson of Centre, Martha (Jerry) Lambert of Rockmart, GA, Billie Faye (Junior) Hopwood of Centre, Ann Hill of Centre; grandson, Jack Hill of Centre

Mr. Hill was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late James Harvel and Adel Ferguson Hill, he was a member of McCord’s Fire Department, On the board of directors at TVA and Cherokee Electric, he was a avid Alabama fan, loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors, but most of all…loved his family and friends.
Donation may be made to the McCord’s fire department, New Bethel Baptist Church or the family will accept flowers. The family request no food.
