Mr. John Roy Holcomb, age 73, of Centre, passed away Monday February 18th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday February 22nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Hawkins officiating; burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Thursday February 21st at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Ethan Holcomb, Jared Holcomb, Coty Silvers, Jason Cyrus, Curtis McDaniel, and Robby Terry.
Survivors include sons John Randell Holcomb of Leesburg, Michael Roy Holcomb of Centre; daughter Lisa Ann Holcomb of Ft. Payne; brothers Sonny Earl Holcomb of Ft. Payne, Donald Edward Holcomb of Henagar, Darrell Lynn Holcomb of Sand Rock, Leonard Holcomb of Leesburg; sisters Liz McGatha of Fyffe, Delores King of Boaz, Virginia “sister” Stokes of Centre; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, special friend Lisa Huggins of Leesburg; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Holcomb; brothers Curtis Pierce, Kenneth Holcomb, and Junior Holcomb.
Mr. Holcomb was a native of Cherokee County; the son of the late Leroy and Christine Pierce Holcomb, and was of the Holiness faith.
