The Centre Police Department on Friday shut down a portion of the Chesnut By Pass where the fatal accident occurred on October 11th in order to “Map The Area” for investigative purposes to try to determine exactly how the accident occurred. The Bypass was shut down for approximately an hour while the Police Department worked in the street.

Chief Kirk Blankenship told WEIS Radio News they are trying to piece together the information they have to get the answers for those involved and their families.
