Cherokee Electric Co-Op Crews Assist In The Wake Of Hurricane Michael And Meet Their Biggest Fan Along The Way

10 members of the Cherokee Electric Co-Op left out on Wednesday traveling to a staging area in South Alabama to assist other crews in accessing damage left behind in the wake of Hurricane Michael. The crew will work from that location for the time being but may travel into Florida if needed.

Hurricane Michael left a path of devastation Wednesday, killing a man in Florida and an 11-year-old girl in Georgia. The most powerful hurricane on record to hit Florida’s Panhandle left wide destruction and is now a tropical storm.
