Mr. Robert Terry Young, age 75, of Centre, passed away Saturday June 2nd at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Wednesday June 6th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Burgess and Rev. Kevin Stewart officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Al Young, Andy Young, Casey Young, Taylor Young, Tanner Young, Call Young.
Survivors include wife Betty Joan Rooks Young; sons Al (Lynn) Young of Centre, Andy (Susan) Young of Seale, Casey (April) Young of Centre; a sister Kaye (Tim) McDonough of Auburn; six grandchildren Taylor Young, Tanner Young, Hannah (Brett) Enis, Halston Young, Call Young, Laura Cate Young; several nieces and nephews
Mr. Young was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Robert Harold and Margret Williams Young, and was of the Baptist faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pine Grove Baptist Church, the Fairview Cemetery Fund, or Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
