GUNTERSVILLE– U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt thanked voters after winning reelection Tuesday, Nov. 3, to represent Alabama’s Fourth Congressional District.

In his election-night statement, Aderholt described serving the district as the honor of his life. He also pledged to represent everyone, regardless of how they voted.

“It is a responsibility I have never taken lightly, and I never will,” Aderholt said.

As he prepares for another term, Aderholt said his constituents would continue to guide his decisions in Washington. In addition, he said each House vote carries a responsibility to the more than 700,000 people he represents.

Their values, concerns, and hopes for the future remain at the forefront of his decisions, he said.

Meanwhile, his message of thanks extended beyond those who supported his campaign.

“I want to thank everyone who supported me and everyone who took the time to vote in this election,” Aderholt said.

“Whether you voted for me or not, I am your Congressman, and my commitment is to serve every person in this district.”

Looking ahead, Aderholt said he wants to strengthen communities and protect conservative values. He also pledged to ensure North Alabama’s voice is heard in Washington.

According to the release, Aderholt spent election night in Guntersville at longtime friend Corey Hill’s victory party. Hill, the mayor of Douglas, also won election Tuesday as Alabama’s commissioner of agriculture and industries.
