According to Alabama State Troopers one person was injured after being involved in a single vehicle crash on Highway 278 early Friday morning. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident states that the mishap occurred at 3:25 a.m., the report listed the driver of the vehicle as 39 year old Piedmont resident Jamie Teal.
The report did note that Teal was wearing a seat belt.
