The Cove Restaurant In Cedar Bluff Temporarily Closed Due To The Passing Of Wade Wood

We would like to express our heart felt condolences to the family of Wade Wood and all the folks at The Cove in Cedar Bluff. Wade passed away peacefully after a long hard fought battle.

A celebration of life service will take place on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at The Cove. The restaurant will remain closed until April 26th.

William Wade Wood, age 53 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Monday, April 16th at his residence.

Celebration of life services will be from 5 until 7:PM Friday, April 20th at The Cove at Riverside and from 1 until 3:PM Sunday, April 22nd at Stuart Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Lynn Butts Wood; sons, Chris (Jessica) Wood of Chattanooga, TN., Clay (Jordan) Pettigrew of Ringgold, GA., Will (Sarah) Pettigrew of Ringgold, GA.; daughter, Katie Wood of Soddy Daisy, TN; Mother-in-law, Sue Lawson of Cedar Bluff; bonus parents, Lynn & Billy Allison; brother, Jeff (Laurie) Wood of Hixon, TN; sisters, Paula (Bobby) Baker of Hixon, TN., Tammy (Brad) Woods of Cedar Bluff; grandchildren, Ivy Wood, Matix Pettigrew; niece, Lauren Holifield; nephew, Nick Picone; great niece, Riley Mae Holifield.

Mr. Wood was a native of Chattanooga, TN., the son of the late, William Ivery and Helen Virginia Hardy Wood, he was a welder, was the owner of The Cove Restaurant and Riverside Campground and was of the Baptist faith.
