Alabama Governor Kay Ivey Knows How to Send a Message (ROLL TIDE)

OUR Governor Knows how to send a message.

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, an Auburn graduate, recently issued a funny, and appropriate, response to Georgia Governor Nathan Deal’s proclamation of January 5th as “UGA Football Friday.”

Governor Deal tweeted out a photo last week of the Georgia “G” near the state capitol with the caption “Here at the Capitol I’m keeping the main thing the main thing” and he followed that with information on a day set aside to honor the Bulldogs.

I’ve proclaimed January 5 as “#UGA Football Friday,” & I encourage fans far and wide to represent @FootballUGA tomorrow by wearing red and black. #keepchoppingwood #ATD

Ivey’s response was straight out of Nick Saban’s “The Process” playbook:

In Alabama, we don’t celebrate making the national championship. Only winning it. Talk to y’all on Tuesday. #RollTide
