A 38 year old Cherokee County man has been arrested in Floyd County, Georgia, accused on nearly running over a woman with his vehicle.

Toby Lee Hulsey of a County Road 69 address was booked into jail Tuesday night.  According to jail reports he was involved in a physical altercation with the victim when the incident occurred on June 13th of this year on Halls Valley Road near the Alabama Highway.  The woman said the vehicle was in motion when Hulsey removed her from it, adding if she hadn’t moved, he would’ve run over her.

Hulsey stands charged with Aggravated Assault in connection with the incident.
