Two people were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County on Monday.

Shane Eric Station, age 32 of Sand Rock and Andrew Scott Owens, age 21 of Gadsden were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Staton was booked into jail around 8:30pm, Owens around 12:30pm.

Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting setting of bond.
