Mrs. Joyce Cothran Burk, age 75 of Centre, passed away April 6 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday April 8th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Clanton officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardenss.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the funeral hour at 3.
Pallbearers: Chancellor Peek, Zachary Miller, Eli Miller, Clint Eubanks, Cade Burk and Whitt Walker.
Mrs. Burk is survived by her husband Raymond Burk, a Son. Jeff (Lisa) Burk of Centre, Daughters, Becky (Frank) Miller, Stacey Peek and Jan (Tony) Ray, all of Centre; Brothers, Bobby (Ann) Russell, Centre, Billy Russell, Piedmont. Siaters, Clara McKinney, Centre, Louise Law, Centre, Nilmarg Smart, Piedmont and Betty Smith, Snellville, GA. ; nine grandchildren, Zachary (Taylor) Miller, Chancellor (Amber) Peek, Hayley Peek, Eli Miller, Brooke (Clint) Eubanks, Caitin Ray, Cade Burk, Jessen Burk and Delaney Ray. five Great Grandchildren, Bryleigh Johnson, Victoria Peek, Braylen Morris. Emma Miller and Elizabeth Eubanks and several Nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first Husband, Gary Cothran and Grandson, Ethan Miller.
She was a native of Cherokee County, member of Mt.
Springs Methodist Church and retired seamstress with American Apparel and Springs, She was the daughter of the late Chancellor Burton and Annie Lou Wood Russell.
Memorials may be made to The Cherokee County Rescue Squad or to The Ethan Miller Scholarship Fund or the family will accept flowers.
