The Centre Lions Club’s 2017 Pancake Day is set for Saturday (March 18th) at the ROC from 6:00am – 12:00 noon; this event is one of the major fundraisers for the Lion’s Club with the proceeds going toward their community service projects including providing eyeglasses for children and adults that are financially challenged, for awarding scholarships for deserving students, and for use of the club’s vision screening machine at area schools and health fairs, and the list goes on and on.
Tickets are $5.00 each and will be available at the door; the Recreational Outreach Center is located at the intersection of Alabama Highway 9 and the U.S. Highway 411 Bypass.
