Linda Leious Beard, 69 of Leesburg, passed away Monday, January 9th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:AM Wednesday, January 11th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Deberry officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Hoppie Morris, Bryant Beard, Dennis Armstrong, Joe Filmore, John Bert East, Jordan Waldrop.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Beard; son, Joseph (Cheryl) Beard of Sand Rock; brother, Robert Eugene (Ann) Waldrop of Leesburg; A sister, Martha Jo (Carmon) Smith of Crossville; 2 grandchildren, Bryant and Arleigh Beard; and several nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Beard was a native of Etowah County, a daughter of the late William Joseph “Joe” and Bonnie Ruth Keener Waldrop and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
