Georgia Man Charged with Cherokee County Burglary

A Georgia resident was arrested earlier in the week, after a Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Investigator spotted the man taking items from a home on Highway 411. Investigator Brent Snead was passing by the residence just north of Centre when he observed the man loading up his car; he confronted the subject, and confirmed that he didn’t have permission to be on the property.

At that point, sixty year old James Allen Johnson, a resident of Conley, Georgia, was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree.

He was then transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.

Johnson was later released after making bond of $5,000.
