Mrs. Bobbie Jean Ashley 81 of Centre passed away Tuesday December 13th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Thursday December 15th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Pollard officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Damon Ashley, Andy Green, Richard King, Heath Pollard, Noah Spillman and Derrick Wright.
Survivors include sons, Phil (Deanna) Ashley of Sand Rock, Kevin Ashley of Centre and Keith Ashley of Centre; daughter, Sharlene (Tim) Pollard of Centre; brother, Kennith (Allene) Phillips of Pace, Fl.; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; special friend, LaSonya Woods, Cynthia King, Phyllis Bedwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ashley.
Mrs. Ashley was born in Floyd County, GA the daughter of the late Raymond Sadie Green Phillips. She lived most of her life in Cherokee County, was a retired lunchroom worker with the Cherokee County Board of Education and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
