A Gadsden man was struck and killed while walking along Highway 411 over the weekend.
According to information from Alabama State Trooper Curtis Summerville – Edward Harold Cash, age 81, was hit by a 2011 GMC SUV, at approximately 11:30am Saturday around three miles north of Gadsden; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
